I can’t believe it’s been 5 years. Estelle was able to join us for what I hoped would be our last oncology visit. Her doctor said we could do one more or move on to survivorship and I knew it was time to move on. How lucky we are that we have that choice?

I know I always talk about fundraising for @alexslemonade, but I don’t really have a choice. Approximately 45 children are diagnosed with cancer every day, and 7 children die every day. Those aren’t just statistics and many of those deaths are a result of treatment.

ALSF is doing everything they can to change that. It’s an organization I believe in with my whole heart, so much that I joined the advisory board. I’ve gotten to know @lemonadelizscott (Alex’s mom) and finding cures and making things better is her life’s mission. She’s a wonderful human being.

Please consider having a lemonade stand with your kids and donating the money to ALSF. Or you can make a donation (no donation is too small) via the link in my bio.

Can we get 200 $5 donations? I’ll match each and every one to really make it count. 🍋🎗️💛

I was the queen of self-imposed timelines. I had it all mapped out – I would get married in my late 20s and have my first baby by 30. I was lost and had no plan for my career, but surely a husband and baby would be the answer…🙃

So what did I do? I broke up with the sociopath and moved from LA to Chicago. I started one business and then another and eventually sold one of them eight years later.

I dated for the first time in my adult life and it wasn’t always fun, but I had fun. I didn’t make it to Europe by 30 like I hoped which I realized was another lesson in letting go of timelines. I visited Paris just after turning 31, and spent the next few years traveling as much as I could.

I met a guy on Tinder in my 30s and had my last baby at 40 which wasn’t at all how I pictured my life turning out. I’m an almost 43 year-old mom of a six, four, and two-year-old.

And I wouldn’t change a thing.

Guys! She did it! My kids are not the most coordinated but everyone swore by these @woombikesusa pbikes so we got them for all 3 kids (or grandma did for their birthdays) and I GET IT NOW.

We set the 🚲 up without pedals after a few days of using it as a balance bike and gliding across the driveway, I knew she was ready.

We put the pedals on and she mastered it almost instantly. This progression took maybe 10 minutes. It was AMAZING! She’s SO proud and so are we! And the fact that Estelle was here for it makes it that much more special ✨

Comment BIKE if you’d like the link to her exact bike.

I’ve always wanted to have someone pop out of a box to surprise my kids. 10/10. Highly recommend. 💗
