At 3 and 5 years old, my girls love coloring and stickers. They are always building forts and packing bags full of all their tiny play food. And they love their stuffed animals (Squishmallows are a favorite). Since they play together most of the time, it felt a little difficult to figure out what to get them individually – they want all the same things. I didn’t want to buy things they might not use for too long (like last year’s big, plastic Gabby’s dollhouse). I wanted to buy toys that they’d use and ones that would last. So here’s what I’m getting my kids for Christmas this year.

Kiwi

Fort Builder

I am hoping this will mean I'll no longer have to move our family room chairs for forts. It looks pretty fun, too. I'm planning on finding a cute blanket or sheet set to use with it.

Cat

Train Set

Jack is only 8 months old and too young to really play with this, but he loves the train his grandma got the kids for our tree, so I thought he'd enjoy watching it, and he'll grow into it. The pieces seem to be on the larger side, too.

Pottery Barn Teen

Sherpa Beanbag Chairs

We were at a friend's house and my kids loved their friends' beanbag chairs, so here we are. I found these sherpa ones at PB Kids and PB Teen, but the teen ones were a lot less expensive and larger (I know, makes no sense) so I ordered them.
