Shark Steam Mop Review – Clean With The Power of Steam
When I did my research before purchasing this steam mop in 2022, it was on most lists for best steam mops for a reason – it works so well. I bought my first steam mop in 2020 while my daughter was in treatment for Leukemia. She had a suppressed immune system and given the state of things at the time, it felt like nothing was ever clean enough. I used it throughout the entire house at least twice a week, but steamed the floors in our entry and family room daily since she spent so much time in there.

I was sold on the rotating pads which meant I wouldn’t be doing any of the hard work as opposed to my last mop which I had to push into the floor to scrub them clean. We don’t have the same exact concerns, but my older dog has accidents from time to time, and my son is so close to crawling. Why I love the Shark Steam Mop
The thing I love most about this mop is that it only uses water and the power of steam to clean. So it sanitizes without any chemicals. It has 3 functions: light, medium, and deep clean. I usually clean on medium since I use this on hardwood floors, and that setting feels powerful enough. But I would recommend deep clean on anything else. It’s amazing on bathroom tile, too.
It’s so easy to use!
I had to use a lot of force to get my last steam mop to scrub, but this steam mop has powerful rotating heads, so it does all the hard work for you. Fill the water tank with water
Shark recommends distilled water but I’ll be honest and tell you I just use water from our sink and haven’t had any issues. I also love how easy it is to see how full the water tank is.
Put two cleaning pads on the head of of the mop
This mop comes with 6 heads that are as easy to put on as they are to take off. After a deep cleaning, I just pop them off and throw them in the washing machine.
Clean your floors
You’ll want to vacuum before steaming. Once any loose dirt has been cleaned up, the deep cleaning with our steam mop begins. Except it’s easy (and fun!) to use. It scrubs, cleans, and sanitizes without any chemicals. Put in a podcast and let this mop and its incredible rotating pads do their thing.
