Attending Taylor Swift’s Eras tour seems like it’s a lot more than a concert experience. I’ve heard that it’s incredible, and can tell you more about it NEXT WEEK! It’s a journey through time, encapsulating the essence of Swift’s iconic eras. As you prepare to immerse yourself in the magic of Swift’s music and storytelling, your attire becomes a big part of experience. I’m not a sparkle girl but will be sparkling for this. Friendship bracelets are a must so I’m here for those. But as someone who likes mostly timeless, classic style, I struggled with what to wear. Here are The Eras Tour outfits I considered, a few I’d consider if I were a few years younger, and what we’re wearing to The Eras Tour. 

 

The Best Eras Tour Outfits: What to Wear for Every Era

 

First, a disclaimer. Anyone can wear anything. If you’re a 55 year-old Swiftie, rock a tiny sequined dress. If you want to go all out and show up in full costume, that’s awesome! But that’s not me. And as someone who hates buying things I’ll never wear again, I struggled with choosing an outfit for The Eras Tour. So if you’re in a similar boat, I hope this helps. 

I was never a huge Taylor Swift fan. Country music wasn’t really my thing and that’s how she got her start. I liked some of her songs as her music evolved, but was never a Swiftie. But my 5 year-old discovered Taylor Swift and going to the Taylor Swift concert has been one of her wildest dreams since. We saw The Eras Tour in movie theaters and she had been asking to go to one of the upcoming shows since. This world tour is unlike anything that’s ever really happened before, and I had to take my little Swiftie. As her mom, I had to make it happen for her.

So I planned a girls trip to Paris to see The Eras Tour, and spend a few days in the city. I could share some wild outfit ideas that I’d never consider. But as a 41 year-old mom of 3, I wanted to feel like myself while having fun. 

 

 

Our Eras tour Outfits:

We love such a mix of Taylor’s music. Margot’s favorites are Look What You Made Me Do, Blank Space, Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince, Cruel Summer, Ready for It, 22, Fearless, Enchanted, and Karma. And we’re hoping Paris is one of her surprise songs! So we went with sequins, because choosing one era would have been too hard. There was no way I was wearing a sequin or gold fringe dress with knee-high boots. I just can’t. 

This is such a special occasion – getting to be in Paris with my tiny best friend (or one of them) feels like a dream. I found the ultimate Eras tour outfit for moms. I messaged my stylist friend who sent a photo of what she wore and I was sold. I’m not really a bright colors or sequins girl, but wanted a little sparkle and this felt like my best bet. So I opted for a sequined skirt. This skirt comes in silver and black sequins, but my daughter is wearing rainbow sequins, so I went with silver.
