A Review of the Lightweight and Compact Zoe Twin Stroller

As a mom of three who has tested countless strollers over the years, I’ve learned that not all strollers are created equal. I’ve tested everything from high-end single strollers and full travel systems to double strollers that promised to make life easier. Because of the unique position I’m in as a content creator or “influencer,” (don’t love that word) I’ve been able to try more strollers than most. We had and loved the Valco Snap Duo, but I had a chance to try the Zoe Twin stroller, which is 4 pounds lighter. With a Disney trip coming up, it felt like a better option for travel. And yes, it’s Disneyland and Disney world approved. After using it in real-life scenarios, from errands to travel, I have some very honest thoughts on this affordable double stroller. If you’re considering a double stroller and wondering if this one is worth it, here’s my Zoe twin review.
Is the Zoe Twin Stroller Worth It?
There’s a reason people rave about Zoe Strollers, but it’s important to do your research before making a stroller purchase. I love my Zoe Twin and can tell you why The Zoe Twin is the best double stroller on the market, especially at this price range, but you want to make sure it’s the right fit for you. I’ve tested the Valco, Bugaboo, Silver Cross, and Uppababy, and the Zoe Twin is an awesome. Based on the how well the Nuna TRVL single stroller works, I can imagine than the TRVL double would be great, but it’s almost $400 more than the Twin. It isn’t as fancy as some of the other strollers I’ve mentioned, but when you look at ease of use and price, it definitely feels like the right stroller for my family.
Why I Love Zoe Products
One of the first things I noticed about the Zoe Twin was how lightweight it felt. I chose the grey color which I love because it feels clean, neutral, and classic. Assembly couldn’t have been easier. It was so intuitive that I didn’t need instructions and it took just a few minutes.
Zoe’s accessories are fantastic. The double stroller organizing is a must-have, and I really like the parent cup holder, too. But the travel bag is amazing. More on that in a minute.
The Zoe also has a higher weight limit than many lightweight doubles (45 pounds. per seat), so it lasts longer.
Zoe’s Return Policy
Zoe also offers a 30-day trial period and free returns. To receive a full refund or exchange, Zoe products must be in new condition, which means they must be unused, unscratched, and without wheel tread scuff marks or pet hair.
Zoe’s happiness guarantee allows customers to make a return within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange. You can easily test a stroller and make sure it stays in new and perfect condition by only testing it in the comfort of your own home, and returning it with original packaging, but I appreciate that you have a chance to try it out. It’s not an all terrain stroller, so you don’t need to take it on rocky trails to know how it works.
On the crazy chance that you purchase a Zoe, take it out into the world, and decide you don’t like it, there may be a restocking fee. An example would be $25 for used wheels or $20 if not returned with all original packaging.
Fold & Travel Friendliness
The Zoe Twin isn’t a travel stroller, but it’s great for travel. The quick fold is simple which is important when you’re managing multiple kids. You do have to put both the seats up when folding it, but that’s easy enough. It folds compactly for a double stroller and fits easily into most trunks. This lightweight stroller is easy to lift and maneuver. the travel bag can be worn as a backpack which is a huge advantage. It’s much easier to manage in airports and on trips compared to bulkier double stroller systems.
My favorite feature that probably isn’t groundbreaking but feels really exciting is the travel bag. My excitement when I realized it was also a backpack was a little irrational, but guys, it’s a backpack! I never put strollers through baggage claim because they can get damaged that way, so being able to wear it as a backpack and checking at the gate is a game-changer.
Storage & Everyday Use
The storage basket underneath isn’t oversized, but has plenty of space for keeping items tucked away. Access is easy enough from both the front and back, which is important. The stroller also includes cup holders and sells a bar with attached snack trays. It feels important to note that you cannot use the snack tray bar and cup holders at the same time, but that’s not important to me. It folds easily, and we hang it on two wall-mounted hooks in our garage.
Cleaning your Zoe stroller couldn’t be easier. Just be sure to follow Zoe’s specific cleaning instructions. Their fabrics are very easy to clean and shed most stains and spills easily. Cleaning instructions are on the tags on the back of the stroller’s seat. Zoe recommends a warm, damp cloth and air drying fabric. Spot test any mild detergents/soaps before using.
Pros
Very lightweight for a double stroller.
Easy to maneuver.
Independent reclining seats (which is a must).
Large sun canopies.
Compact fold.
Travel-friendly.
Fits through standard doorways.
Stain resistant fabrics are easy to keep clean.
Zoe offers add-on seats to turn your stroller into a triple or quad stroller.
You can purchase an add-on to make your single stroller a double, but I strongly prefer side-by-side.
The boo window is great for keeping an eye on sleeping babies.
The double belly bar is easy to open and close.
Cons
I couldn’t really think of any negatives other than it’s not designed for rough terrain or jogging which, it’s not a jogging stroller. If you want a jogging stroller, look at BOB or baby jogger.
The Zoe Twin cannot be folded with snack holder bar attached. I do not have this bar, so this isn’t an issue for me.
None of these are dealbreakers for me, but they’re worth noting depending on your lifestyle.
