Comment RIBBON and I’ll send you a link to my waterproof wired ribbon.

I was determined make my own bows for out wreaths this year. Because fun fact - I worked at a stationery store in Montecito, CA and got really good at wrapping gifts and making bows. 🎁

It’s been a moment and I’m a little rusty but I’ve still got it.

Here’s how I made bows for my wreaths:

I’ll do my best to describe what I did here. I don’t measure - that would be too exact and yes I am a virgo and it makes zero sense that I’m ok with this method.

1. The end of the ribbon should be in the center of a loop. Make 3 big circles (half the circle will be a bow loop). Then cut the outside of the ribbon after you’ve made the third loop.

2. Cut the tail and another piece that will serve as the knot, and will hold the ribbon together.

3. Place the tail behind the big loop.

4. Tie the knotted piece around the whole thing.

5. Fluff, put a piece of wire through the back of the knot, and attach to your wreath.

In search of the perfect little antique mirror for this new favorite corner in our family room. And you won’t believe this but the hydrangea aren’t real!

I switched out my artificial garland for a better version and just wow - it’s PERFECT. I liked the last one but *love* the new one. It’s a sketchers / prada backpack situation.

It sadly sold out AGAIN but they have some really beautiful options in stock. Comment LINKS and I’ll send you a link to the store where I purchased it and my favorite red satin ribbon, too.

Off to see 🎅🏻 (they knew they could say hi, wave, or completely ignore him) and they were excited to meet him this year ❤️ Moments like this feel so big! We keep Santa gifts small ($20 range or under) and don’t make a huge thing of it, but want them to experience he magic ✨

My 5 year old already asked if Santa is real! I thought that came later?? I didn’t want to lie so I followed some brilliant advice I heard last week and just said he’s magical like Olaf. That seemed to do the trick. 😬

Thank you for the sweet 🎄 dresses, @bellablissclothing! (they’re linked on my blog!)
