My Varley Doublesoft Try-On
If you’re not new here, you know that I love Varley clothing. My love of the brand started in the fall of 2022 with this ribbed sweatshirt. Then I bought two more and discovered the doublesoft fabric, which is next-level. The brand makes chic, wearable pieces that are perfect for everyday. Varley was founded between Los Angeles and the United Kingdom in 2015 by husband-and-wife team Lara and Ben Mead. From working from home and weekends at home to running around with the kids and running errands, the modern woman’s routine has a changeable nature which demands high-performance active-wear with a high-fashion aesthetic. Caring for Varley’s Fabric
I love Varley’s sweaters and ribbed fabrics. I wash these pieces on cold, and then hang them to dry. The fabric doesn’t pill and stays so, so soft.
Varley Sizing
I am most-often asked about sizing. I am 5’5 and a size 26/27 depending on the brand, and am a size small in everything except this jacket, which I have in an XS. Most of these sweatshirts are oversized, but still fit really well. You could size down, but I like to order my true size, and wear them a little loose. I love that the pieces are a bit oversized but don’t feel too boxy. The fabric drapes perfectly, so they’re cozy yet flattering.
All my doublesoft tops are a size small, in the color ivory marl, and I’m wearing the same pants egret with my ribbed jacket.
