My great aunt was the person who showed me what unconditional love was. She was always proud of me. Always in my corner.

And while she didn’t have children or grandchildren of her own, she had me, and she made me feel like I was enough.

She meant more to me than anyone and shaped who I would become, so much that I gave my daughter her name.
