Swipe to see the before. ✨ Still can’t believe how beautiful @wikelafrey’s cabinetry turned out. I had a “plan” - wanted all of my most-used products eye-level, no visible outlets (they’re in the upper cabinets), and storage for towels. And Melinda made. it. happen.

We won’t be ready to do the kitchen for a while but cannot wait for her to work her magic again.

Next up: window treatments except I have zero vision (white? pattern?). Has anyone used @everhem or @wovnhome? Love the look of both but so nervous to commit.

Took a midday work break to snuggle my third baby. The little boy that came into our lives just months before I celebrated my 41st birthday. Never thought this is where I’d be at this stage in my life - it all felt so “late” but let me tell you - none of that matters.

I knew we needed him but didn’t know how much. They say third babies are the best and now I see why. We’re all obsessed with him.

I’m just so happy he’s here. I look at our lives today vs. a few years ago and just can’t believe how far we’ve come. 🤍

Potentially but hopefully not an unpopular opinion: forcing a child to sit on the lap of a big, bearded stranger and taking a photo while they scream and cry isn’t funny.

Do I think you’re a “bad parent” if you do this? No. Do I think it’s kind or respectful? Also no.

I realize that people might get fired up over this one but it’s something we should talk about. And if you’re defensive of forcing your child to do something that makes them feel so afraid, it might be worth unpacking why.

Would love your take on this one.

Cozy day at home attempting to put lights on the real tree I just had to have. They smell so good and feel so festive but I also maybe don’t have it in me anymore🎄

2 strands died after I put them on the tree (yes, I tested them) and I accidentally bought cool white lights at Target this morning.
