2016 no. 5
We’re 5 weeks into the new year and I’m already on my first international trip! We’ll spend two more nights in Buenos Aires before flying to Mendoza for horseback riding, hiking, wine tasting, laying out poolside, and a cooking class! Loving South America so far. The architecture, food, people, culture, and bars–it’s such an beautiful place! Follow me on instagram to see what I’ve been up to!
I didn’t overpack (insert jazz hands here)! Or at least I don’t feel like I did. Expect a list of what I brought and what I did (and didn’t) need at some point later this month.
Hopping on another plane the day after I fly back to Chicago and then I’m off to LA 3 weeks later (both work trips). This will be my first trip to DC but is a quick one (one evening) so I won’t have time to do or see very much. Hoping to extend LA by a day or two to spend time with family and friends.
Couldn’t find the instructions for this bed frame but decided to wing it and built it myself. Super easy.
Found out I need to have a molar pulled and a implant put in. Shouldn’t be too bad compared to last year’s oral surgery last year which included having to be put under and stitches in my mouth for a week.
I said farewell to Whole30 with dinner at Avec last weekend. Crazy thing was that after just one tiny bite of dessert, I didn’t really want anything else. I used to love frozen yogurt but it tastes too fake and kind of gross now. But I’m all about the empanadas, cocktails, and wine.
There should have been some posts ready to go while I’m away but never really got around to that, so expect things to be quieter than usual the next week or two.
